Rumor on the street is that MAPS Food and Nutrition Services serves the BEST Brussel Sprouts in town.....Well, the rumors are correct, we do. MAPS School Lunch Heroes are so excited to hear that students are requesting our vegetables to be served at home! If you roast any vegetable with a little oil, salt and pepper, it will caramelize and becomes instantly delicious!
Here is a little snapshot of the process that we do every time we roast a vegetable. These have become so popular that we went from menuing them once a month to almost every other week! It warms our hearts to see students choose to eat vegetables. MAPS Food and Nutrition Services does their part in educating students about the amazing produce available to us. What's your favorite roasted vegetable to eat??? Don't believe us, we dare you to come and try them :)

Vance Kroetsch soars over the bar at 9'—eventually clearing 9'6"—during the pole vault event during Track & Field's competition at the Thundering Herd Classic Track and Field Meet at NDSU on April 4. The meet was another strong early season performance for the Spuds, who claimed first place for both boys and girls at the event in Fargo. Track & Field will look to continue their hot streak when they attend the Sheyenne Invitational at Sheyenne High School in West Fargo on Friday.

There will be another pop-up food pantry taking place every second Monday of the month at 5pm at Grace United Methodist Church. If you or someone you know is experiencing food insecurity this spring, this food pantry requires no referrals or qualifiers for the supplies distribution, which includes fruit, canned goods, fresh meat, and more. The next pop-up pantry date will be this upcoming April 14.
