The Spuds, coming off an impressive 8-game winning streak, hosted #4 Brainerd in the semifinal matchup on October 26. The Spuds set the tone early, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter. They capitalized on their lead, driving the score up to 35-0 by halftime. They kept up the pressure in the second half, adding two more touchdowns and sealing a dominant 48-0 victory over the Warriors. With an undefeated 9-0 record, the Spuds are now set to host #2 Alexandria Area in the Section Championship game at home on Friday, November 1. 🏈🏈 #LifelongLearningStartsHere

Annie Horan and Mady Geist work together to block Bemidji's scoring attempt. On Saturday, October 26, the #4 Spuds faced off against #5 Bemidji in the section playoff quarterfinals. The Spuds came out strong, dominating the first set 25-15 and securing the second 25-16. Despite Bemidji’s efforts to rally in the third set, the Spuds held their ground and finished with a 25-22 victory. October 21-25 is National School Bus Safety Week! MAPS is committed to keeping our students safe, and we've made some key improvements this school year:
🚍Front-Facing Stop Arm Cameras: Thanks to a Stop Arm Grant from the MN Department of Safety - Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety , all our buses are now equipped with cameras to help law enforcement enforce stop arm violations.
🚍Upgraded Wireless Bus Cameras: No more manual video downloads! Our new wireless system makes it easier to review footage and keep everyone safe.

This week, students at Horizon West teamed up to assemble hygiene kits for families affected by the hurricane Helene in North Carolina. They collected essential items like soap, toothpaste, and other daily necessities to bring comfort and support to those in need.
