In Honor of Veterans Day, MAPS would like to spotlight one of our own. Parker Wood, a 3rd-grade student teacher at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary. Parker is a senior at MSUM and will soon begin serving the North Dakota Air National Guard after he attends basic training in March. Thank you for your service, Parker! #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud
November is Native American Heritage Month. This month is a time to recognize and uplift the history, culture and contributions of our Indigenous population. MAPS' Native American families, students and staff are valued contributors to our district and community. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud
November 6-10 is National School Psychologist Week! MAPS wants to highlight our school psychologists, who help students thrive. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

For the third school year in a row, Moorhead Area Public Schools and Family HealthCare's Moorhead dental location are teaming up to bring mobile dental clinics to schools throughout the district. The mobile dental unit provides both preventative care and dental treatments for students. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud
Community Education Inclusive Zumba is for everyone! The class draws a diverse group of participants across different abilities, age groups, genders and national origins. The next session of Inclusive Zumba begins on November 1.
