Cold weather is here! Please make sure your child is bundled up. We want to make sure students can play comfortably outside. Students go outside for recess unless it is raining or the temperature falls below 0 F or the windchill is below -10 F.

Snack time at Ellen Hopkins Elementary just got a fresh update this week! Now the second MAPS K-4 school to introduce the USDA’s Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program, Ellen Hopkins students will receive free fresh fruits and veggies to enjoy every Tuesday through Thursday. Each snack is paired with a fun nutrition lesson, introducing kids to healthy options like apples, carrots, and even rutabagas! 🌱🥕🍎 #LifelongLearningStartsHere
