Mrs. Melby and Ms. Dani awaited the arrival of baby chicks with their "Mama Hen" shirts. Classrooms and staff have been able to watch a live feed of the hatchlings occurring in the incubator. Students have been asking great questions! The chicks will be going to a farm where they will have a lot of room to run around, scratch the dirt, and lay eggs. Hopkins welcomed the first baby chick the evening of March 21st. π£

Our Read-A-Thon ends on March 29th! (Details are on the image.) We are a school where student learning is at the heart of our work and our goal is that children and families feel good about the place they call their school. We believe that this is because of the incredible students that attend our school, the awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly the incredible support of our families. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
