The Clay County Outreach Program recently moved into the Sports Center at Moorhead High School. To make students feel at home in the new space, staff got to work with paint and supplies to make a chalkboard and whiteboard wall! We love to see creative environments like this for Spud students!

In honor of Education Support Professionals Day, we want to highlight staff member Sarah Martin! Sarah is the Learning Resource Strategist at Ellen Hopkins Elementary and has been with MAPS since 1999. When it comes to her job, she says, “It’s awesome to get to work with all the kids at Hopkins and watch them grow from kindergarten to 4th grade. Moorhead public and non-public schools and buses will start 2 hours late today, November 12. There will be no morning Early Intervention Services, Jump Start or Community Education classes. Before-school activities are cancelled. All employees are to report to work as scheduled. Online students will maintain a regular schedule.

Take a look at this spot in the District Operations Center where buses are housed. This space can hold up to 26 buses indoors and includes a repair garage and a bus washing station on site. It’s easy to keep buses clean and safe for students with everything in one spot. #SpudPride
