
Vance Kroetsch soars over the bar at 9'—eventually clearing 9'6"—during the pole vault event during Track & Field's competition at the Thundering Herd Classic Track and Field Meet at NDSU on April 4. The meet was another strong early season performance for the Spuds, who claimed first place for both boys and girls at the event in Fargo. Track & Field will look to continue their hot streak when they attend the Sheyenne Invitational at Sheyenne High School in West Fargo on Friday.

There will be another pop-up food pantry taking place every second Monday of the month at 5pm at Grace United Methodist Church. If you or someone you know is experiencing food insecurity this spring, this food pantry requires no referrals or qualifiers for the supplies distribution, which includes fruit, canned goods, fresh meat, and more. The next pop-up pantry date will be this upcoming April 14.

A 4th grade class at Ellen Hopkins Elementary "took a bite out of hunger" and have been working on a non-perishable food drive for those in need! After retrieving paper bags filled with canned goods donated by the generosity of neighbors, the food and supplies collected will now be distributed to households in need around the school community. If you or loved ones find yourselves in need of food, the Great Plains Food Bank will be holding a mobile food pantry distribution on the second Thursday of every month. Upcoming dates include April 10 and May 8.
