We are proud of Moorhead High senior Olivia Kortan, forward and team captain of the Spuds Varsity Girls Hockey team, for being selected for the Class AA tournament Herb Brooks Award. Late last school year, the Horizon East 8th Grade Band performed "The unBroken Project," including two new movements that the school helped develop. Now, the band is forever a part of the composition's history.

Austin Dryburgh secures a rebound during the Boys Basketball home game against Kindred (ND) on February 14. Brian Zarazua (22) and Jett Feeney (23) each eclipsed the 20-point mark as the Spuds cruised 85-68 over the Vikings. The Spuds will close the regular season with three straight road games, starting Friday when they travel to Sartell to face the Sabres.
