Mason Kraft turns and heads for the loose puck during the Feb 21 game against Brainerd held at the Moorhead Sports Center. Kraft tallied two goals in the contest as top-seeded Moorhead defeated ninth-seeded Brainerd in the quarterfinal game of the Section 8AA boys' hockey tournament. The Spuds won 6-2 over the Warriors and then moved on to take down fourth-seeded Sartell in the semifinal on Feb 26 by a score of 4-1. For the 23rd year in a row, Moorhead will be in the section finals which were rescheduled due to the storm. The Spuds take on No. 2 seed Roseau tonight at 7 p.m. in the East Grand Forks Civic Center. Due to weather, the Thursday, Feb. 23 performance of James and the Giant Peach is rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. All tickets purchased for Thursday's performance will be honored for the rescheduled date. Contact the box office at (218) 284-2255 for a refund or to exchange tickets.

🏆 Zaine Braaten is the first Spud skier in program history to medal at the state meet. Zaine placed 7th overall in the pursuit!
🏆 Abbie Ishaug and Jacki Johnson placed 5th overall in the sprint relay.
🏆 Kennedy Olson placed 73rd overall in the pursuit.
Aaron Reierson scores the second goal of his hat trick during the game against Rogers on Feb. 7. All scoring occurred during the second period of play as Reierson opened up on a pass from Colby Krier. Rogers scored within a minute, and Reierson ended the show with his final two scores.
