Moorhead High School Theater wrapped its seven-show 2023 fall production, Legally Blonde: The Musical, on Saturday, November 25. Senior CeCe Bedore played the lead character, Elle Woods. The entire cast was mentored by Class of 2000 MHS alumna Becky Gulsvig, who starred as Elle Woods in the Broadway production of the same show. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

During the 16th annual Fill the Dome event on November 20-21, @moorheadstuco delivered donations from all MAPS schools to the FARGODOME. Moorhead Schools once again donated enough cans to create a huge art piece on the dome floor—with everything donated to the Great Plains Food Bank ! #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud
Moorhead High School has been voted Best High School in the 2023 Best of the Red River Valley competition. Also, S.G. Reinertsen won silver for best Elementary School, and Horizon won bronze for best Middle School. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

During snack time on a typical day at Robert Asp Elementary, you might find a classroom of students crunching on apple slices or carrot sticks while receiving a lesson on nutrition. The ability for all these students to snack on fresh fruits and vegetables is part of an innovative grant program from the Minnesota Department of Education.

In Honor of Veterans Day, MAPS would like to spotlight one of our own. Parker Wood, a 3rd-grade student teacher at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary.
