CELEBRATING 150 YEARS: Rudy Arechigo, MHS class of 1954, was a standout athlete in cross country and track, winning three Minnesota State High School League state championships in 1953 and 1954. Arechigo discovered his talent for speed early on. Encouraged by coaches and classmates, he joined the track team in 11th grade and quickly proved himself, dominating races with impressive victories.
