The fall 2023 season saw a new activity officially competing for Moorhead High School: eSports. Competing out of the MHS Career Academy's state-of-the-art eSports Lab, the team had one player reach the State Finals and another finish top 10 statewide.

During their February 12 meeting, the Moorhead City Council presented MAPS Executive Director of Operations and Emergency Management Steve Moore with the Moorheart Award. The Council praised Steve for his leading role in the opening of the new MHS, which included overseeing the move between buildings over winter break. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

The Titans, fourth-grade students at Ellen Hopkins Elementary, welcomed the NDSU Bison Football team. They chatted with the players about workouts, NFL teams, injuries, careers, and superpowers. They also joined the players in activities with kindergarteners in the gym. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud
