Author Dave Eggers graciously donated a large, wood-bound special edition of his book The Eyes & The Impossible to the Horizon Middle School West media center. To celebrate the book winning the prestigious Newbery Award for 2024, Mr. Dooher will be hosting a read-along of this beautiful book in the media center on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:05 p.m. from April 2 through May 2.

Throughout MAPS, students are engaging in virtual author visits with their favorite authors. They have the opportunity to submit questions for the authors of the books they're currently reading. Micah, a student at Probstfield Elementary, had his question selected for author Minh Le to answer live during one of these virtual sessions. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

Following a hiatus of over 13 years, the Moorhead High School Cheerleading team made a return for the 2023-24 school year. Over the span of both the traditional fall and winter seasons, two coaches along with a group of MHS students, answered the call to rebuild cheerleading at MHS. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud
