CELEBRATING 150 YEARS: Paula Bauck, a PE teacher in Moorhead Area Public Schools from 1958 to 1983, was instrumental in launching interscholastic girls' sports in Moorhead and statewide. Before Title IX in 1972, she championed girls' athletics, gaining recognition from state leaders and setting the stage for progress in Minnesota.

Congratulations to the Spuds Speech team for clinching their 8th consecutive AA state title! Three Spuds also secured individual state titles. Moorhead's performance earned them 19 medals, just one shy of the all-time State record, and matched their team-high achievement set in 2015.
