The Girls Golf Team competed in the Section 8AAA tournament at Headwaters Country Club in Park Rapids. Madi Hanson led the way for the Spuds at sectionals, carding an 81 and an 89, finishing 12th overall at 170. MHS wrapped up the 2023 season with a fourth place sectional finish.

Egerdahl led Moorhead with four goals as the Spuds raced past the Bulldogs 18-6 to advance to the Section 8A semifinals. Moorhead opens State Tournament play Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. against defending champion Benilde St. Margaret.

Jace Blythe scores from in tight during the Boys Lacrosse contest with Grand Rapids on May 23rd. The Spuds raced out of the gates with 10 straight goals to open the game and cruised to a 20-2 victory on Senior Night. Blythe had a hat trick on the day, as did Joel Egerdahl; Caleb Alderson led the way with four goals for Moorhead. The top-seeded Spuds will face St. Cloud in the sectional semifinals at home on Tuesday.

MHS's Advanced Foods Class has been in the midst of a baking competition. The winner from the Block 1 class was B1K4, and in the Block 3 class was B3K3! Congrats! 🎉🧁

The MAPS Summer Food Program starts today, May 31, and runs through August 3. These meals are free and available to all children 18 and under. Special diet meals are also available by contacting the Food Services Department (see graphic).
