Alex Sandahl, Dean of Students at Horizon East, gave a presentation to a pod of 6th graders last week.
Alex brought in some of his family furs and shared about trapping in Minnesota. Alex is a former 6th grader teacher and was able to relate all of his presentation to the Minnesota Fur Trade unit that our 6th graders are currently studying!
The P’s & Q’s Etiquette Group is hosting a “wax museum” event Friday, February 28th at Rourke Museum at 6:30pm. Please come out and support these students and celebrate Black History Month!
From February 3rd to February 14th, Horizon West students and staff participated in a coin war.
Horizon West Students are participating in our annual Coin Wars to collect donations for Giving Hearts Day coming up this week. They are competing as classes to see who can raise the most money until this Wednesday. If you have pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters that your child could donate to a nonprofit in our area that supports Moorhead students and families, please have them bring them in by Wednesday, February 12th!

Thank you parents and students for your generous support during our Holiday Giving Tree. We had such a positive response and are so appreciative of the many items we received to help restock our Spud Mart! We have many Horizon West students that will benefit from your kindness.
Fundraiser for Horizon East! This February 12th, with every order, Horizon East receives 20% back. Funds will be used to celebrate students at the end of the school year!
