🔶She graduated from MSUM with a degree in Elementary Education.
🔶Her hobbies include: reading a good mystery book, binge watching TV, online shopping way too much, trying new recipes, attending concerts and spending time with her loved ones.
🔶Briana’s favorite part of her job is being able to connect with so many wonderful people at MAPS!

Helping our school all year long is easy! Just shop and take a picture of your receipt in the Box Top App. Our school PTAC earns money that goes back to our school in many ways. Anyone can submit their box tops to Ellen Hopkins so share the idea with family and friends!

Under Minnesota Statutes 13D.021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the school board has determined to limit public attendance at School Board meetings to 10 people, as set forth by the CDC and MDH until further notice.

Papa John’s Pizza Days are an opportunity to help raise money for the schools. All you have to do is order pizza today and mention you are calling for Ellen Hopkins School Pizza Day. You get a deal and so does the school!
What a fun Tuesday! Moorhead Police Officers visited the 2nd graders to read the book Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathmann. Each student got to keep their own copy too!

Our 4th graders are working on building their state commercials as part of their research project.

This week, third grade artists are learning about the largest organism in the world, Pando, a giant grove of aspen trees! After being inspired by our friend Pando, students created a grove of aspens of their own and then painted them with watercolors. We added a final touch of salt science with absorption to create an awesome starry effect in the background of our projects... all in 1/2 an hour! These are some seriously awesome masterpieces. -Ivy Mattson, Art Teacher
