What is a PLC Late Day?

These days will function the same as a late start day due to weather. All schools will begin two hours later than their normal start time. These late start days are used for teachers to participate in professional development through professional learning communities (PLC) in their subject areas. Professional development days sometimes cover more general education, PLC relates to their specific areas of teaching.  *JumpStart will not follow late start days.*

Where can I find information from my school?

Parents will receive communication through the new mobile app or website. We will no longer be sending out an automated daily email. Please download the mobile app by searching Moorhead Schools in your app store. Each school has a Live Feed and News section, where you will find important and relevant information about your school.

The Moorhead School Board voted on Aug. 23 to require indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students and visitors in MAPS PreK-12 grade schools, regardless of vaccination status. Students must wear masks on the buses and in the school buildings starting on Monday, Aug. 30.

The District will continue to communicate with parents/guardians directly about COVID-19 updates. You can also visit to stay up to date.
