Last week, students at Dorothy Dodds Elementary participated in a Walk-A-Thon fundraising event. The funds raised during this event will help provide opportunities for technology updates, playground equipment, special projects and so much more! Each class walks during their PE, Music and Art class time. Parents attended to cheer on their students. #OnceASpudAlwaysAspud

Doors open at 9:20 and students should be in their seats and ready to learn at 9:45.
We are collecting family board games to be used within the school. We'd like to be able to have enough to start a family game night. Family friendly new or used gmaes in good condition are accepted.

Dorothy Dodds will be conducting a Bus Evacuation Drill.
Bus Evacuation Drill – tests protocols necessary to safely relocate students to an off-site location in the event of a real emergency. Students evacuate the school, accompanied by teachers and staff, and together move to a bus and review the drill and bus exiting procedures. For the drill the bus will stay on site at Dorothy Dodds.
We will have enought buses for a whole grade plus any wheelchairs.
Evacuations will start at 9:15 and run every 20mins
Encourage your student to talk about the drill after school today.
