Horizon Theatre Camp - The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition - NOW open to 4th grade students! Dive into the world of musical theatre in this fun-filled camp where students will bring The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition to life on stage. This year we welcome back Director Laura Karst and an experienced team of theatre educators to work with students grades 5 - 8 to develop their acting, voice, and theatre dance skills. Students will be part of a cast and will rehearse daily in a positive environment that fosters creativity, collaboration, and confidence, culminating in a fully staged production. Create a resilient yard to sustain the Red River by building a compost tumbler. Workshops include a presentation to learn the basics and benefits of composting. By tumbling this composter once a week, you could have a barrel of compost by the end of the season. Be ready to take home an empty 55-gallon barrel. The barrel may be white or blue. Class Notes Concerts are free, in-person concerts performed by Minnesota-based artists in Minnesota schools.
In their Class Notes Concert, Flipside Percussion will play original tunes composed by members of the ensemble and identify and explain their instruments. They will also introduce the concept of improvisation and explain how they work together to improvise as an ensemble.
