Beginning T’ai Chi Chih - Joy Through Movement part one starts next Monday! Join Accredited T'ai Chi Chih Instructor and Physical Therapist, Barbara Edin for an introduction to T'ai Chi Chih. Resilient Yard Series: Make Your Own Compost Tumbler Workshop! Create a resilient yard to sustain the Red River by making your own compost tumbler. In addition to building your own compost tumbler to take home, this workshop includes a presentation to learn the basics of composting and how to construct various composting systems. Come prepared to carry home an empty 55-gallon compost tumbler. Fee includes supplies. Bring a drill (corded or cordless) and 1/8”, 3/8”, and 5/32” bit to class if you have them. Instructors will have several drills and bits for participants to share.


Moorhead public and non-public schools and buses will start two hours late on April 6. There will be no morning Early Intervention Services, JumpStart or Community Education classes. Before-school activities are canceled.

The make-up day for this storm day will extend the school year one day. Tuesday, May 30 will become the last student day for the school year.


Reminder: All Moorhead public and non-public schools will dismiss 2 hours early April 4. There will be no afternoon Early Intervention Services and JumpStart. Afternoon and evening Community Education classes and after-school and evening activities are canceled.
