MHS students once again showed off their sidewalk art skills with Chalk-A-Palooza 2023! This year's theme was Video and Arcade Games. Needless to say, these artists all set a high score! 🎨☀️👾 #SpudPride

Lake Parr makes a save as Girls Lacrosse battles St. Michael-Albertville at Jim Gotta Stadium on May 9. Trailing by as many as five in the first half, the Spuds tied it up shortly after halftime then went back and forth with the Knights before pulling out an 11-10 victory. It was Moorhead's first Girls Lacrosse victory over STMA in program history. Sydney Martinson led the Spuds with five goals, while Abby Kurpius scored a hat trick. Things are changing quickly at the Moorhead High School construction site and we want to document the progress with the community. The installation of walls, windows and fixtures is starting to define the spaces throughout. The Commons are beginning to take shape, along with improvement in the Media Center. The baby chicks have arrived at Probstfield! After a weeks-long incubation period, the baby chicks began hatching last week and were transferred to a brooder—which gave the students something new to learn about in the process. 🐣🐥🐤 #SpudPride



We are proud of Horizon West 6th Grade Math Masters team members who competed in the regional tournament on April 20, 2023. These students competed in team and individual competitions and placed extremely well. Great job on your accomplishments, Spuds!

Kellsey Klundt winds up her pitch during the game against Park Rapids held at Jim Gotta Stadium on the campus of Moorhead High School on May 4. Klundt pitched all five innings of the game giving up no walks, 2 hits, and struck out five batters. At bat, Klundt had 2 hits and 2 RBIs to help the team in their 10-0 victory over the Panthers. #GoSpuds
