Students Kayla Medinas Horizon Middle School West's classroom spent time creating dog and cat blankets along with dog toys for local animal shelters and the finished items will be delivered soon to support animals in need during this season!🐶🐱🧡
We are proud of MHS athletes who competed in the 2025 MSHSL Class AA Girls Swimming and Diving State Meet. Athletes include Matilda Bergeson, Kaycee Hansen, Amani Hebert, Zoey Johnson, Mallory McMullen, Grace Rieniets, Adrienne Roaldson, Macy Roaldson, Olivia Roaldson, Madi Schue and Whitney Schue. The 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team of Olivia Roaldson, Madi Schue, Matilda Bergeson and Macy Roaldson placed 10th and the 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Olivia Roaldson, Madi Schue, Amani Hebert and Macy Roaldson placed 15th. The team is coached by Pat Anderson, Josh Starkweather, Jeff Schneider, Kara Schmitz Olson and Lindsey Biebl.

All week, Schools in the District are pieing their teachers in the face, and S.G. Reinertsen Elementary were one of the first to participate! The kids had a blast throwing pie in the face of their teachers and staff, and it looks like the teachers had just as much fun watching their co-workers get pied!🤣🥧

All Moorhead public and non-public schools, including Community Education classes, are closed December 18. Moorhead Area Public School students in grades E-12 are required to complete an eLearning day. All before-school, after-school and evening activities are canceled.
