A 4th grade class at Ellen Hopkins Elementary "took a bite out of hunger" and have been working on a non-perishable food drive for those in need! After retrieving paper bags filled with canned goods donated by the generosity of neighbors, the food and supplies collected will now be distributed to households in need around the school community. We are so proud of our Spuds for their amazing teamwork! 🧡🖤#LifelongLearningStartsHere
If you or loved ones find yourselves in need of food, the Great Plains Food Bank will be holding a mobile food pantry distribution on the second Thursday of every month. Upcoming dates include April 10 and May 8.
