CELEBRATING 150 YEARS: Liza Contah, on the right, qualified for three events at the 1997 MSHSL State Track Meet. She qualified for the 100,200, and was a member of the 800 relay. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

Jace Blythe and Joel Egerdahl celebrated the Spuds overtime victory against the STMA Knights on June 6. This win marks the Spuds' fourth consecutive Section 8A title. They will kick off the State Tournament on Tuesday against the #3 seed, Lakeville North. This morning, friends and family gathered at MHS to send off the team with cheers. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud




Sydney Martinson carries the ball up the field during the Girls Lacrosse Section 8A Quarterfinal game against St. Cloud on May 29. Martinson tallied six goals as the Spuds claimed a back-and-forth contest over the Crush 14-11. She also reached a personal milestone of 200 career draw controls during the playoff match. Moorhead advanced to the Section 8A Semifinals but fell to Buffalo to end the season. Congrats to the Spuds on another great season! #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud


MAPS third annual District Showcase is August 8, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.! From elementary through high school, the showcase will feature tools for registration and much more to get ready for the upcoming year! 🚌✏️ #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

Fantastic news from the Moorhead Esports squad, concluding yet another successful season! The Spuds sent representatives to the state finals, where the Rocket League Black team secured an impressive 3rd place. The team featured Dylane Shekore, Mason Pesch, and Kingston Goodhouse. #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

As we gear up for this Friday's graduation, let's take a #TBT trip 33 years back to the commencement for the Class of 1991. That year, 282 students proudly accepted their diplomas to become the 106th graduating class of Moorhead High School. 🎓 #OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

🔶Summer Hours 🔶 Starting Tuesday, May 28, All MAPS offices and buildings will be open to the public Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be closed on Fridays. Summer hours will run until Friday, August 16.

CELEBRATING 150 YEARS: The MHS Spud volleyball team, whose head coach was Karin Schumacher, won the MSHSL State Championship on November 12, 1988. The Spuds won the Region 8AA tournament without losing a set. 🏐#OnceASpudAlwaysASpud

On May 6, Moorhead Orchestra students in grades 6-12 held an All-City Orchestra concert in the MHS gymnasium. The performance featured individual group sets, culminating in a joint performance where all the orchestra students played a song together. #OnceSpudAlwaysASpud
