
It’s Mental Health Awareness week and this year's theme is ‘Tools 2 Thrive’ which provides tips and practical tools everyone can use to improve their mental health. To highlight the importance of this week, our Spud counselors are sharing their best tips!

Alayna Janke breaks through the water as she races down the pool during the girls swim and dive meet against Detroit Lakes on Sept. 21. During the meet, the Spuds 200m relay team set a new pool record of 1:57.19. Members of the relay team include Maggie Howe, Ava Rodgers, Alayna Janke and Arianna Hoff. Spud Families, a change to our Bell Schedule will take effect Monday, 9/27. This change is necessary for the continued success of our daily operations between Moorhead High School & the Career Academy. This was communicated to students this afternoon (Friday, 9/24) Go Spuds!


The Spuds volleyball team celebrates on Sept. 16 during their match against Bemidji. The Spuds took the Lumberjacks in three sets: 25-21, 25-15 and 25-16. The Spud players had great stats, with Rosie Anderson at 11 kills and two blocks and Mya Pfeifer with nine kills, two blocks and one ace. Grace Perry also had a good showing with eight kills and one block. Taliah Triggs came in with the most blocks at four and had three kills as well. Anna Knain and Sarah Boock both had 17 assists for Moorhead, while Alexa Gronwold scored two aces. Spuds volleyball's record is 2-3 on the season. Photo credit: Bill Grover

On Sept. 11, in Rogers, the boys pumped out four goals in the first half on their way to a 6-4 victory over Rogers. The Spuds are 5-1-1 overall carrying a five game winning streak.
