Holiday festivities are starting in Moorhead! Tomorrow night at 5 p.m., enjoy refreshments and a holiday music performance by the Moorhead High School Carolers as the Mayor light’s the City of Moorhead’s Holiday Tree! 🎄🎵 The event is taking place at the Moorhead Center Mall, 500 Center Avenue, and is open to anyone interested in attending.


The Clay County Outreach Program recently moved into the Sports Center at Moorhead High School. To make students feel at home in the new space, staff got to work with paint and supplies to make a chalkboard and whiteboard wall! We love to see creative environments like this for Spud students!

MHS Student Council's Fill the Dome fundraiser has begun! All Moorhead schools will be participating and students are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items for donation. All items will be donated to the Great Plains Food Bank to give to local families in need. MHS Spud Families, an email was sent to your moorheadschools email account to review the two hour late start schedule. You can also find the late start schedule on the MHS App and Website under the documents tab.

Moorhead public and non-public schools and buses will start 2 hours late today, November 12. There will be no morning Early Intervention Services, Jump Start or Community Education classes. Before-school activities are cancelled. All employees are to report to work as scheduled. Online students will maintain a regular schedule.
