Good luck to the boys hockey team! 🏒 The Spuds play in the section championship against Elk River tonight at 7 p.m. This marks the 22nd consecutive time that Moorhead has advanced to the championship game. They defeated the Brainerd Warriors in the section quarterfinals on Feb. 23 with a score of 7-0. They beat the STMA Knights with a score of 4-1 on Feb. 26. #GoSpuds


Congratulations to Aiden Carlson and Dresden Adams for qualifying for state! Carlson placed second in the 100 butterfly, and first in the 100 breaststroke. Adams placed second in the 500 freestyle. 🏊 They will compete in the state tournament March 3-5! #GoSpuds

John Millea from the Minnesota State High School League presented shirts during a recent basketball game to honor MHS students. As part of their Fill the Dome Campaign, students gathered money and food to donate to the Great Plains Food Bank. This student council led campaign was recognized at the state level! #SpudPride

Bria and Ella Holm celebrate the lone goal shot by Bria during the Feb. 17 game against the Brainerd Warriors. Congratulations to the girls hockey team who played hard and made it to the section final this year! The team finished their season with a 5-4 lead over the Rams, advancing to the section final. The Spuds fell 1-2 against Brainerd.


The Moorhead boys swim and dive team just received their trophy from their Border Battle meet! The team placed 3rd against 15 teams across Minnesota and North Dakota on Jan. 8. Their next meet is Feb. 25 at Elk River High School! #GoSpuds

Moorhead public and non-public schools and buses will start two hours late on Friday, Feb. 18. There will be no morning Early Intervention Services, Jump Start or Community Education classes. Before-school activities are canceled. Online students and West Central Academy will maintain a regular schedule.
