Helping hands needed for the Spring book fair.
The tradition continues at Ellen Hopkins! When Mrs. McManamon found the book "Big Bob and the Magic Valentine's Day Potato" it became the springboard to her inviting Spuddy to visit her class on Valentine's Day each year! She also gives her students a couple potato chips, just like the treat they received in the book. "My thought is that when you teach in a district where the mascot is a potato you have to embrace it!" 🥔 #SpudPride

2nd graders in Mrs. Devine’s class had a great 100th day of school! We used bags filled with 100 items like toothpicks, brain flakes and popsicle sticks to get our creative juices flowing. We searched for 100 chocolate kisses and we placed them on a number grid. Then we collectively read 100 books! 💯
