Snack time at Ellen Hopkins Elementary just got a fresh update this week! Now the second MAPS K-4 school to introduce the USDA’s Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program, Ellen Hopkins students will receive free fresh fruits and veggies to enjoy every Tuesday through Thursday. Each snack is paired with a fun nutrition lesson, introducing kids to healthy options like apples, carrots, and even rutabagas! 🌱🥕🍎 #LifelongLearningStartsHere

Please join us at Ellen Hopkins Elementary on Monday, October 28th for our PTAC meeting! Meeting will be held in the media center at 6:00 p.m.. Childcare available, too!

School pictures have arrived and are being sent home this week! Picture retakes for Hopkins students are scheduled for Tuesday, October 29th first thing in the morning! If your child is taking retakes, please ensure they are to school on time so they don't miss the opportunity.

Ellen Hopkins was selected to participate in the 2024-25 Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program. 🤩 First on the menu are honey crisp apples! 🍎 This is a federally funded grant that we received to introduce different fruits and vegetables at our school.
