Recently a parent posted on social media thanking one of our drivers for going above and beyond. We want to highlight John Rasmussen, bus driver at Moorhead Area Public Schools.
He noticed a first grader was running a minute behind. John made an extra stop down the block in front of their house, to make sure the student didn't miss the bus. These little acts of kindness are what make our school district and community the best place to be!

Family HealthCare has a new mobile dental unit that will begin visiting Moorhead schools the first week in November. Students, with the permission of parents, can have dental exams conveniently during school hours. A book is a gift you can open again and again. đź“– Thank you to the Moorhead Rotary Club who recently donated $10,000 worth of books to Moorhead elementary schools! Along with this amazing donation, Moorhead Rotary provided a dictionary to every 3rd grader, an annual program that students look forward to.
