Ojibwe language beginner's class will help participants to learn a new, but old language of the indigenous peoples who have inhabited this area known as Minnesota. Participants will learn how to read, write and speak the Ojibwe language from elder Christy Goulet who is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. Participants will be guided using Rosetta Stone that has developed the first Indigenous language Ojibwe curriculum from the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe leaving participants longing to learn more of the Ojibwe language.
