If someone needs help or a partner, Anja is the first person to volunteer. Anja can work with anyone and always has a smile on her face. She is also always ready and willing to help with any task! Anja is a leader in every way and her bright attitude makes her whole classroom more cheerful. She gives her all each and every day and we are so lucky to have her at SGR! #SpudPride
Kinsley is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has been working extra hard during phonics lessons and it's wonderful to see her improving each day! Kinsley is also a very caring person to everyone around her, which is why everyone wants to be her friend. She is also extremely helpful to her friends and classmates. Way to go, Kinsley! #SpudPride

Brantley is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he is a leader in the class- always a good example of following the rules and also always looking for a way to help. A specific example of his kindness happened this morning. There is a peer in the class who gets picked up at 2:00 every day and misses recess. This morning Brantley asked that peer 'can you ask your mom and dad if you could stay one day so you and I can play together outside??" It was just so sweet to hear this conversation and think about the bravery and kindness to ask the peer this in the hopes of having some more time to play together- SO SWEET! Way to go Brantley- I am so proud of you- Mrs Iverson
Allison is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has done a wonderful job adjusting to SGR at a new student this year. She is a great friend to all of her classmates and always done her best job in class. I am so glad you are a SPUD this year. Keep up the great work Allison! #SpudPride
Jesselyn is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has been working so hard on her phonics and hand writing and is making amazing progress! Her focus at learning time is setting a great example for her peers and it shows in her work. Keep it up Jesselyn, we are so proud! #SpudPride
Eli is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he is always cleaning up the classroom, making sure all the trash gets in the garbage, he makes sure all the supplies are put back correctly and in a neat way. He has also been working very hard at his work spot during independent work and is a good role model for his peers. We so proud of, Eli! #SpudPride
Talya is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has been doing great in kindergarten! She comes in ready to learn each day. She does a great job participating in class and following the rules. Talya is also very kind to all of her classmates. Wonderful work, Talya! #SpudPride
Eden is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she is always willing to share her thinking. Eden always thinks very deeply about things and offers great insight. She isn't afraid to help out a classmate and to be a helper/teacher to them as well. Thanks for being a great role model, Eden! #SpudPride
Grayson is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he has been doing an awesome job following the rules in school. He has been working really hard on handwriting and has improved so much! He does a great job using teamwork to help his teacher put up the chairs at the end of the day. Keep it up! #SpudPride
Lincoln is a #sgrspudoftheweek because h is such a hard worker in 4th grade! He gives his best on all his assignments and asks great questions if he needs help. Recently, Lincoln has been doing a great job even if he gets frustrated during school. His teacher is so proud of the positive growth Lincoln has shown and glad he is in his class this year!
