Jevon is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he has been working so hard at school the past few weeks! He has been working hard to do his work independently and has had such a positive attitude! Hudson is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he has been working incredibly hard to make good choices and be a leader in our classroom. He is compassionate and empathetic. He cares about other adults and kids, and he loves to make others happy. I am so proud of him and his hard work! Way to go, Hud! #SpudPride
Izzy is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she is always going above and beyond to help others and make sure our class is happy and ready to go! She is a leader and a model student with behavior! She works hard and includes everyone! We are so lucky to have her in our classroom! Her bright smile cheers us all up! Way to go Izzy! #SpudPride
Stella is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she is an absolute joy to have in class. She brings a great energy to our room each day and has a fun and caring way about her when interacting with her peers. I especially appreciate how helpful she has been when working in small groups. Stella will encourage her classmates if they get stuck and motivate them to keep going. She loves to smile and cheer on her classmates. She is also very reliable and helpful around the school, cleaning and keeping things organized. I am so happy to be her teacher, and we are ALL very lucky to have her as a role model in our school. Way to go, Stella! #SpudPride
Thomas is an #sgrspudoftheweek because he has been a joy to have in class this year! He is such a hard worker on all his assignments and participates great ideas in classroom discussions. Lorenzo is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he has an incredibly motivated attitude. He wanted to be the best he can be and works hard to get there. If someone needs help or a partner, Anja is the first person to volunteer. Anja can work with anyone and always has a smile on her face. She is also always ready and willing to help with any task! Kinsley is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has been working extra hard during phonics lessons and it's wonderful to see her improving each day! Kinsley is also a very caring person to everyone around her, which is why everyone wants to be her friend. She is also extremely helpful to her friends and classmates. Way to go, Kinsley! #SpudPride

Brantley is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he is a leader in the class- always a good example of following the rules and also always looking for a way to help. A specific example of his kindness happened this morning. There is a peer in the class who gets picked up at 2:00 every day and misses recess. This morning Brantley asked that peer 'can you ask your mom and dad if you could stay one day so you and I can play together outside??" It was just so sweet to hear this conversation and think about the bravery and kindness to ask the peer this in the hopes of having some more time to play together- SO SWEET! Way to go Brantley- I am so proud of you- Mrs Iverson
