Cruz is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he has been working very hard in kindergarten! He was already an artist coming into kindergarten. Hayden is a #sgrspudoftheweek because, throughout this year, Hayden has dedicated himself to mastering smooth transitions and has shown remarkable improvement in task initiation, jumping into his daily tasks with focus and determination. Perhaps most impressively, he has developed a great deal of flexibility when accepting changes to our daily routine. Beyond his hard work, Hayden’s positive energy is a gift to our class; he arrives every morning with a radiant smile and a happy spirit that sets a wonderful tone for everyone around him. Both Mrs. Olson and Mrs. McNab want to nominate Ayanna for Spud of the Week. Ayanna is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she is being very responsible. She is practicing her reading at home. Ayanna works hard in her reading group with Mrs. Olson and tries her best. Ayanna is also being more independent in Mrs. McNab's room and keeps trying when the work gets hard. Both Mrs. Olson and Mrs. McNab have seen that Ayanna's hard work and being responsible have paid off as she is making some good progress in her reading. We are so proud of her! #SpudPride
