Willow is a #sgrspudoftheweek because all year she has continued to notice the space around her. Willow has noticed that the bathrooms have needed some extra cleaning and has taken it upon herself to help pick up garbage. She also makes sure that her peers feel included. Thanks for being a leader all year, Willow! #spudpride

Mrs. Sheila and I would like to nominate Jilleana for #sgrspudoftheweek for all of her hard work last week! She showed us consistently all week long what it looks like to be a hard worker. She also worked really hard to use her words if she is sad or mad. We are very proud of Jilleana! #spudpride

Benesa is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has been working hard all year to take responsibility, focus on herself, and has been working hard on math and reading. She has grown a lot through second grade and is showing strong self control and emotional regulation skills. Keep up the amazing work, Benesa! #spudpride

Two students were nominated for #sgrspudoftheweek at the same time from Mrs. Devine because there were quite a few library books that had been knocked from shelves due to a student's big feelings, Brody and Charlee were carrying in their books to return and stopped to bring all the knocked down books to the circulation desk as well even though their hands were already full. Such a kind and thoughtful choice! Way to go, student leaders! #spudpride

Jumanah is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she has been following all the B's! She is safe, respectful, responsible, and kind! Way to to go! Keep up the great work! #spudpride

Zakaria is a #sgrspudoftheweek because he has been working super hard on his goals! He has had 3 REALLY good days in a row this week keeping his hands and body to himself & listening to ALL of his teachers! Lyle is spud of the week because he has continued to show respect and perseverance in class. He has set goals for himself and has been accomplishing them one-by-one! Lyle is kind to his classmates and is sure to include others when they need a friend. His confidence has grown as a 3rd grader and it shows! Keep up the great work, Lyle! #spudpride

Aaliyah is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she is a great leader in the classroom. I can always count on Aaliyah to be following directions and listening right away. She is willing to do hard things, and never gives up! Keep up the great work! Way to go, Aaliyah! #spudpride

Andrea is a #sgrspudoftheweek because she is ready to learn every day with the most positive attitude. Her love for reading is admirable and she puts 100 % effort into everything she does at school. She sets a great example for her peers at SGR! Way to go, girl! #spudpride

Olivia is an #sgrspudoftheweek because she is helpful, kind, and works hard! Olivia has a good attitude and strives to do her best on all her classwork.
