The Moorhead Track Club is an opportunity for elementary students to learn the fundamentals of track and field. Grades 3-6 students will learn correct running mechanics, hurdling, softball throwing, high jump and the long jump. Our events will be coached by current and former high school coaches along with current Moorhead Spud track and field athletes. Our first four sessions will be practices, and our last session will be an actual track meet. Grades 3-6 participants will compete in the 70-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, softball throw, long jump, high jump and 200-meter dash. Cupcakes make dreams come true! Since 2013, Addie's team of royal bakers have helped her raise almost $80,000 by selling cupcakes each summer! The cupcakes are the best in the land and hundreds of people visit Addie's Royal Cupcake Stand to sample the tasty treats. Addie and her team have helped the Sunshine Foundation grant dreams to kids with disabilities, illness, or who have suffered from abuse.
