Robin Hagen is a paraprofessional at Ellen Hopkins Elementary. She works in a special education classroom and was recently surprised as the November Spud Spirit winner. Her hard work did not go unnoticed and a co-worker nominated her to be recognized.
The nominator is thankful for Robin’s positive influence on students and coworkers. Robin was described as everyone’s biggest cheerleader. Highlighting how caring and positive she is, they specifically shared a story of her patience and care for her students.
“Robin carries around a fanny pack full of fidgets to help students transition and calm down. She is also often singing songs and being very animated to motivate her students to complete work tasks and gain new skills!”
Dr. Brandon Lunak emphasized, “Robin is an amazing part of our Spud team. She told her coworkers that working in the school with children was her passion. The positivity and light she carries shines to those around her.”
