Lexi Lundberg, family engagement and literacy specialist at Moorhead Area Public Schools was surprised as the October Spud Spirit winner.
Lundberg goes above and beyond in her role and it does not go unnoticed. Her nominator described her as passionate about literacy and connecting with families. They specifically highlighted a story that showcases the important work Lundberg does outside of teaching valuable content.
“This past August, the district held the first district showcase event. The idea originated with Lexi. She understands that education starts with service to our families and the community. She led the planning, dedicating hours to create a meaningful event with everything our families might need, including reaching out to community agencies.”
Lundberg works hard every day to keep families engaged in their children’s lives, impacting the success of every student at Moorhead Area Public Schools. She is willing to go the extra mile, and get things done!
