MHS Musical

The most notorious couple of the twentieth century takes on a whole new adventure: The Stage! The musical centers on Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, the ill-fated lovers and outlaws whose story has been infamous since they achieved folk-hero status in the Great Depression.

After the pandemic created a one-year hiatus for musicals at Moorhead High, director Rebecca Meyer-Larson is especially glad to see more than 75 young artists creating the show at MHS. “I am thrilled to bring this new musical to the Fargo-Moorhead community, “ Meyer-Larson, reflected. “Not only is it a great opportunity to explore the rich history of the Barrow gang and the Great Depression, but the rockabilly, blues and gospel score makes this show simply a crime to miss.”

Due to construction at the high school, the musical Bonnie and Clyde will be performed at Horizon Middle School in the Performing Arts Center November 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 7:30 p.m. with 2 p.m. matinees on November 14 and 21. Tickets can be reserved online at www.moorheadschools.org/tix or by calling the Box Office at 218-284-2255. This musical contains material that may not be suitable for young children.

Moorhead High Theatre strives to make its performances and facilities accessible to all patrons. On November 14, there will be a sign-language interpreted performance. For further information or accommodations, please contact the high school Activities Office.
