Based on the beloved, timeless animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg, this deep-sea pearl of a show brings all your favorite Bikini Bottom citizens to life.
The plot kicks into high gear when the community discovers that a nearby volcano is on the verge of erupting, threatening to destroy their humble home. With lives hanging in the balance and hope starting to fade, SpongeBob and his friends must band together to save their undersea world. Ultimately, it’s a story about how the power of optimism, friendship, and an unexpected hero can literally save the day.
An Award-Winning, Star-Studded Soundtrack
While the characters are familiar, the music is a completely unique, magical experience. Conceived by Tina Landau with a book by Kyle Jarrow, the production features an unbelievable lineup of original songs written by some of the biggest names in the music industry, including:
