Thank you for joining us for the November 2025 MHS Construction Project Phase 2 update!
Details are coming together for the Fine Arts classrooms, which will be ready to open in January, with accents like new acoustic panels being installed—in Spud colors!
The Fine Arts hallway will feature amenities similar to its academic counterparts, such as these familiar computer-operated lockers.
The large band, orchestra and choir rooms will feature technology like microphones in the ceilings to help students improve by hearing themselves practice. Certain customizations, such as carpet in the choir room versus rubber tile for band and orchestra, are made with the needs of each individual class in mind.
The east side of the hallway will feature different sized ensemble rooms for specialized practice and instruction.
Now, a sneak peek at the final Phase 2 construction areas! The black box and adjoining multipurpose room are now painted and ready for the installation of their ceiling-mounted lighting grids.
Meanwhile, the auditorium is taking shape with the stadium seating tiers installed and the stage concrete poured. Stay tuned to the district website and social media for future updates as we enter the project’s home stretch!
