A Message from Our School Counselor

Our Monthly Theme:  RESPECT

We are focusing on showing RESPECT this month.

The new monthly theme in March is RESPECT. Showing RESPECT is one of our school rules:

Be Respectful

Be Responsible

Be Safe

Be Kind

At SGR we want to show respect for all beings and things.  When we show RESPECT, we are also honoring something. The Grandfathers believed that everything has a spirit and therefore deserves respect.

Some ways we will be practicing RESPECT this month:

  • Respect yourself.  Try your hardest in all that you do.

  • Respect your school and keep a positive attitude towards your classes, classmates and all adults working at school.

  • Respect others and their things.  Return property the way it was borrowed.

  • Be mindful of the balance of all living things, honor them and live honorably in teachings and in your actions towards all things.

  • Safeguard the dignity, individuality and rights of others.
