We need your help this week with a couple of items, one inside the building and one outside.
- Library Books: We’re looking for some library books and can use your help! Please spend 15-30 minutes today scoping out your homes for any books that have the S.G. Reinertsen Media Center barcode on them and then throw them into your child’s backpack. Some books are just a little bit overdue, and some have been missing since Covid hit almost 2 years ago. Books that are more than 90 days overdue will start appearing in our systems as fines based on the cost of the books. We would prefer to have the books back than to have to pass out fines, so any help you can provide in returning books would be greatly appreciated! Thank you
- Parking Lots: Both of our parking lots have been incredibly busy the last few weeks as it has been really cold outside, so we need your help. First, this week is going to be much warmer. We’d encourage you to have your kids walk home. That will help with some of the trouble in the lots. If you are picking up your kids, though, we need you to be aware of cars and kids around you. Please DO NOT double or triple park in either lot. We’ve had too many cars get stuck along the curb because other drivers block them in while waiting for kids. Please be aware of other drivers/cars so that everyone can get in and out of the lots quickly and safely.
