Finally, this week you should be receiving two documents, one in email and one in regular snail mail. The email has information related to completing PowerSchool Registration. PowerSchool Registration is updated annually for ALL families, and is different from your regular kindergarten registration. ALL families should fill this out because this is where we get our most important information: emergency contacts, health information, media/field trip releases, etc.
The snail mail information is an invite to our Kindergarten night next week, July 29. It’ll include a time for you to stop by school, meet a teacher, and complete a basic assessment/informational sheet that helps us determine the best classroom placement for your child this fall. It also is an opportunity to provide some great background information to your child’s kindergarten teacher prior to our Back-to-School night. After you finish that, you can tour the school as a family on your own, to start getting comfortable. It’s a great opportunity to get into the school and start feeling comfortable, so we hope everyone takes advantage!
