The City of Moorhead is making improvements to 40th Avenue South between 8th Street and 20th Street in 2026. This roadway is an important connection to residential areas, schools, parks, local businesses, and churches. This project will make 40th Avenue South safer and more accessible for all road users, including drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists. The goal of this project is to: enhance safety, especially for pedestrians, reduce speeding and improve traffic flow, and maintain pavement and prepare for future growth
Join us for an open house to provide your feedback on the 40th Avenue South design.
Event Information: Thursday, January 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at S.G. Reinertsen Elementary (1201 40th Ave S, Moorhead, MN) in the cafeteria. Please park in the back lot and enter through Door 13.
