Our May Theme: Finishing Strong
Our last theme of the 2022-23 school year is Finishing Strong. We have been practicing the Seven Grandfather Teachings throughout this school year. It is true that all of the Grandfather Teachings are an important way of living life to the fullest considering not only ourselves but all other living creatures. It takes practice to employ all the Grandfather Teachings of:
Courage
Wisdom
Humility
Honesty
Love
Respect
Truth
It is our hope that students not only learn to read, write and do math at school, but that they also learn these important values which will help them become the best versions of themselves, treating all living creatures, as well as themselves, with love and compassion.
We will surely Finish Strong if we are showing courage, wisdom, humility, honesty, love, respect and truth in what we say and do. As we transition into summer, please help our students practice all of these important Grandfather Teachings at home throughout the summer.
Thank you for an AWESOME school year and now get out there and enjoy the warm summer weather! It’s time to relax and recharge our batteries. We look forward to welcoming you back to SGR next fall for the 2023-24 school year!
