Principal Message

SGR Families,

Happy Sunday! Family Fun Night was a BLAST! We hope you had a chance to enjoy it, but if not, hopefully you can make it next year! A big thank you to our PTAC, our FFN committee, and all the volunteers who helped out. Our notes this week will be brief:

  • Truth: Truth is our monthly theme this month. Ms. Shari touched on it in her last video of March, and I’ll mention it as well in tomorrow’s principal video. This is a great Grandfather teaching, and an important one as we move into the last couple months of school.

  • School Events: Last week was busy with events at school during the day and the evening. This week will be a little quieter, which will be nice. However, it’s a great reminder that there are a lot of events this spring, so please make sure you’re reading all communication from your teachers so that you’re in the know.

  • Schedule this week: Two items of note - first, we have our last planned late start this Wednesday, April 5, provided the weather stays nice. Obviously if the weather isn’t great and affects school we’ll send texts/calls/emails to all families. We’ve reached our maximum 5 days of eLearning already this year, so we know that’s not an option. Second, there is NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 7, nor next Monday, April 10.

Fingers crossed for great weather and a great week!

Mr. St. Louis, principal
