APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - Seniors Chase Schmidt (Great Speeches, 1st place/Storytelling, 2nd place), Hameedah Oladele (Prose, 1st place), Tate Horan (1st place humor), Greta Homuth (Humor 2nd place/ Duo 2nd place), Olivia Dahlberg (Duo 2nd place), Ethan Larson (3rd place poetry), Andrina Rockstad (Great Speeches, 3rd place), and Finn Larson (3rd place Program Oral Interpretation), along with sophomore MenKayla Kruah took top honors at the 2023 Minneapple Tournament. The coveted marble apples are awarded to the top three varsity finalists and the champion in the novice division. The team took home the top team trophy, winning 1st place in the team sweepstakes at this highly competitive national tournament.
