Moorhead Area Public Schools is proud to announce that the Moorhead High School Speech Team claimed their ninth consecutive Minnesota State High School League Class AA State Team Championship on April 26 at the State Speech Tournament in Shakopee, MN. The Spuds compiled 88 points and won 17 medals, tied for the third most by a school in a single year.
The team’s remarkable performance was led by three students who claimed state titles in their respective categories. Evan Froslie and Eleanor Culloton were repeat winners, earning their second gold medals, with Allie Skauge claiming her first.
