Frozen The Broadway Musical

For the first time in forever, experience the musical phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. This November, Moorhead High School Theatre proudly presents the regional premiere of Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical — a spectacular stage adaptation of the Academy Award–winning animated film. Featuring all the beloved songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with new music written just for the stage, Frozen brings the magic of Arendelle to life like never before.

Set in the snow-capped kingdom of Arendelle, Frozen follows Princesses Anna and Elsa, two sisters whose bond is tested when Elsa’s magical powers are revealed. As Elsa isolates herself in the mountains, Anna embarks on a daring journey to bring her sister home—with help from Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and the ever-hopeful snowman Olaf. Filled with humor, adventure, and heart, Frozen is a story about love in all its forms—and how family can thaw even the coldest winter.

“We are thrilled to be the first program in the area to bring this full stage production to life,” says director Rebecca Meyer-Larson. “Frozen sparkles with Disney magic, and as winter arrives in Minnesota, its story of sisterhood and love reminds us that warmth often comes from the people closest to us.”

Due to ongoing high school construction, performances will be held at the Horizon Performing Arts Center on November 21, 22, 25, 28, and 29 at 7:00 p.m., and November 23 and 30 at 2:00 p.m.
