PTAC Board school year 2022-2023:
Want to be more involved at Ellen Hopkins? Come to PTAC and see if there is a committee or other engagement opportunity you wish to be a part of. Assignments range from full school year to project based (just a few weeks). The PTAC board of school year 2021-2022 will be looking at those who are interested in board positions to bring up to speed on their roles.
Summer Garden (More Details on page 8):
Is your student still looking for activities this summer? We’re looking for volunteers to assist with the community gardens. Students and families will be responsible for assisting with watering, weeding, and harvesting. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about cause/effect, photosynthesis, counting, colors, and so much more. SPUD SPLATTER RUN:
The Spud Splatter run is scheduled for Thursday, May 26th starting at 5pm!
We also have several opportunities for volunteers over the course of the event with time slots as short as 20 minutes. See the Sign-Up Genius link on the PTAC Facebook page, or click here. All volunteers are greatly welcomed. There is need for support in set up, during the event, and post event to clean up. We are very excited for this opportunity of community engagement for our friends and family of Ellen Hopkins.
Welcome, Class of 2035:
We are excited to welcome in our new Kindergarten families this fall. Note; our first PTAC meeting of the next school year will be on Tuesday, September 13th at 6:30pm.
Congratulations, Class of 2030:
This is a bittersweet goodbye to all of our 4th grade students moving into their new roles as 5th graders. We will miss all of your smiling faces and curious minds. We hope to see you visit when the time is right at our future events.
