Hello Hopkins Families,
Cold weather has finally arrived in full force! Students need their outdoor gear everyday. Boots, hats, gloves and snow pants are essential additions as well as a warm winter coat. Now is also a good time to wash any items that have been in the closet or that are already seeing use and wear.
Winter Gear Needs: If you are experiencing a need and can't provide winter gear items for your child, please contact their classroom teacher.
Success Tip of The Week: Reading, writing and speaking are the foundation of human interaction, success and growth. Words help us connect with others, share our ideas, and help us reflect on our experiences.
These key skills are what all of our students at Ellen Hopkins are focusing on. Nationwide and here at Ellen Hopkins Elementary, students are having difficulty mastering these skills. This puts them at risk and takes opportunities away from them. We know that a team effort is the only way to help our students reach their grade level learning milestones. We want to share this amazing resource with tools for families to easily use at home to grow their child's skils and abilities. As always, we appreciate your partnership in this journey!
